Retailer Zalando launches AI shopping agent as margins squeezed

European online fashion retailer Zalando on Tuesday unveiled its first AI shopping ‌agent that will allow customers to buy products from other retailers through the Zalando app, as inventory-clearing discounts pressured quarterly margins.
